Modern Footstool upholstered in Marimekko Siirtopuutarha GREEN fabric design - round footstool, birchwood frame - handmade - bold contemporary, iconic botanic fabric design.
Upholstered modern footstool made using natural & recycled materials by me in my Sussex Workshop.
The footstool is 50cm Diameter and 35cm Height - and is shipped fully assembled.
The upper has a piped edge and a Rounded by label. The simple silhouette is flat enough to hold a tray, comfy enough to rest your feet, with an edging roll inside to ensure that the edges don't simply 'compress to nothing'.
This footstool, as are all Rounded by footstools is upholstered with cocolok fillers - a natural rubberised coconut hair, a natural and sustainable alternative to modern foams which are a petro chemical derivative.
Each piece is made by me, and each footstool will have a different pattern configuration using the iconic Marimekko Siirtopuutarha GREEN print.
The birch ply frame has been treated with Rubio Monocoat a chemical free clear matt sealant.
